Over recent years we have produced a printed calendar for sale to members both to raise funds for the Friends and raise awareness of the Vintage Trains offerings. Due to ever-increasing costs this ended up making a loss for the Friends which we can ill afford, especially when designing and publishing the calendar placed demands on our small Committee. We do still have a small stock of these calendars which are available to members in return for a donation; please contact us if you would like one of them.
We have moved with the times for 2026 and have designed a freely downloadable printable calendar reflecting the Vintage Trains tours with both steam and diesel traction throughout the year, although we couldn’t quite get them to match up by month unfortunately. The January 2026 image showing the running shed as Tyseley Locomotive Depot begins the year carrying out a planned winter maintenance programme is shown here. Please have a look and do download and print it as a reminder of the wide range of tours that Vintage Trains offer throughout the year.
The Friends are also pleased to offer a set of 5 postcard-sized greetings cards. Each pack has 5 mixed cards; the inside is blank for you to add your own message. The card images can be seen in this gallery. Each pack costs £4 + postage and can be ordered using the greetings cards order form.
All proceeds from the sale of these cards go towards the funds that are used to support specific Vintage Trains’ projects.
