2022 AGM

THE 2022 VINTAGE TRAINS SOCIETY ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 2022 Annual General Meeting of the Vintage Trains Society took place on Saturday 19th March 2022 at the Tyseley Workingmen’s Club.

The agenda covered:

  1. Apologies for absence
  2. Minutes of previous AGM
  3. Chair’s report
  4. Financial report
  5. Election of Committee and Officers

Three members of the Committee stood down at this AGM and we would like to place on record the Committee’s thanks to Dave Martin and Geoff Middleton for their long and unstinting support during their time on the Committee, and to Tony Watson who was appointed a Director of Vintage Trains CBS at its last AGM. Neil Ewart also stood down as Chair as this meeting but will remain on the Committee to help and advise.

The Annual General Meetings are your opportunity to have your say in the running of the Friends and we look forward to seeing as many members as possible at our AGMs.

The doors opened at 10.30am (tea/coffee was served); the AGM started promptly at 11.00am. Membership cards had to be shown upon entry. We asked Members who wish to raise Any Other Business to do so in writing before the meeting, either via email to Secretary@FriendsofVT.org.uk or in writing to the Secretary, Friends of Vintage Trains, 670 Warwick Road, Tyseley, Birmingham B11 2HL. No items were received.

Members arriving by car could park in Tyseley Locomotive Works car park which remained open until 10.55am.
